Ulrike Phieler joined Prof. Talke's team in January 2019 as academic assistant. Before that she was a guest researcher in the DCR Program and gained experience as research assistant at the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt/ Oder). For her research about the effective management of word-of-mouth in marketing she received her PhD in 2019 form the European University Viadrina. Her primary research interests are related to marketing communication, consumer behavior, and quantitative methods.
Sabrina Fischenich, M.Sc.

Before joining Prof. Talke’s team as an academic assistant, Sabrina Fischenich received a Master’s degree from the Free University Berlin in Management & Marketing. This specialization coincides with her major in Management during her Bachelor studies at Maastricht University. During her studies, Sabrina spent two semesters abroad in Canada and France and gained working experience in market research and brand marketing. Her master’s thesis dealt with customer evaluations of service recovery efforts after they experienced service failure.
Sarah Johann, M.Sc.

Sarah Johann joined Prof. Talke’s team in October 2014 as an academic assistant. Sarah studied business administration (B.Sc.) and Management & Marketing (M.Sc.) at the Free University of Berlin and the HEC Paris. Her master thesis analyzed the effects of corporate downsizing on the reputation of a firm. During her studies she worked as a student research assistant at the Free and Technical University of Berlin. Sarah’s current research interests include product design and consumer product preferences.
Julia Dahm, M.Sc.
Raum H9157
Julia joined Prof. Talke`s Team in 2017 as an external doctoral candidate. She is also a management consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners, a marketing and pricing focused consultancy. She holds a master's degree in psychology from the University of Mannheim and spent one academic year at the University of Connecticut, focusing on advanced statistical methods. Her current research deals with psychological factors in product design preferences.
Dipl.-Kfm. Sven Kleinknecht
Sven Kleinknecht joined Prof. Talke's team in early 2011 as a research assistant. His research interests include simulation of entrepreneurial decision making and the influence of business planning on nascent entrepreneurs. Sven is now researching at TU Munich.
Dr. Antonia Wagner
Antonia Wagner joined Prof. Talkes’ team in September 2016 with her expertise in business administration, consumer culture and design. She holds a diploma in economic engineering from the Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe (KIT) and studied Art Theory and Media Philosophy at the Karlsruhe University of the Arts and Design (HfG) where between 2013–2016 she also worked as a research assistant on the project „Konsumästhetik. Formen des Umgangs mit käuflichen Dingen“ (Consumer Aesthetics: Forms of Dealing with Commercial Objects) funded by the VolkswagenStiftung. Her PhD focuses on feminist perspectives in the fine arts since the 1960s. Antonia gained teaching experience in the Department of Sociology (KIT) and as a lecturer from 2011–2013 at the HfG.
Dipl.-Kfm. Pierre Franke
Pierre Franke joined Professor Talke’s team as PhD student in November 2012. He studied Business Administration at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL), majoring in Strategic Management and Finance. Pierre started his career as a consultant at the Commerzbank, where he stayed for three years. In his dissertation he analyses the influence of product design on market performance and market demand.
