Miriam joined Prof. Talke’s Team in 2019 as an academic assistant. Before that, she worked three years as a management consultant for Deloitte and gained project experiences across various industries. Miriam studied psychology at the Goethe University Frankfurt and spent a research stay at Stockholm University and at Autonomous University of Barcelona.  In her research, she currently focuses on the interaction of psychological processes and product design in the retail context.

Saskia Walz, M. Sc.

Saskia joined Prof. Talke’s team in February 2020 as an academic assistant. Prior to that, she studied Business Administration at Bayreuth University (B.Sc.), Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea and Potsdam University (M.Sc.). Her master thesis analyzed the effects of materialism on eco-conscious attitudes and consumption behaviors. During her studies, she gained working experience in marketing and communication. Her current research interest focuses on psychological factors in product design preferences.

Mona Frermann, M. Sc.

Mona Frermann received her Bachelor's Degree at Pforzheim University in ‘Business/ Market Research and Consumer Psychology’ and she expanded her statistical and psychological knowledge through her master program 'Empirical Educational Research and Psychology' at Tübingen University. During her studies, Mona spent one semester abroad in South Korea and gained practical experience in market research, educational research, economic research and psychotherapy. Her master’s thesis dealt with the effect of students' personality development on later work life outcomes. Before joining Prof. Talke’s team as an academic assistant in April 2020, Mona gathered working experience in a consulting company for societal innovation. Her current research interests focus on the classification and perception of design (styles) as well as psychological influences of design (styles) on behavior.

Florian Waldner, Ph.D.

Florian joined Prof. Talkes’ team in 2016 as PostDoc. He is also affiliated to the Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics at the Copenhagen Business School (25%). He received his PhD in Management from the University of Vienna in 2015. He holds master’s degrees in international business administration (University of Vienna) and in digital art (University of Applied Arts Vienna). His primary research areas relate to the management of innovation focusing on business model innovation, design innovation, and open innovation processes. Between 2008 and 2010 he was part of a London-based music technology startup focusing on the development and distribution of mobile applications (Reality Jockey Ltd., RjDj).
